Biography :

I am Debra Schilling Smith, an Illinois native who spent a significant part of my adult life in New Orleans before relocating to the beautiful Ozark Mountains. Even though she's a newcomer to the Bull Shoals Lake Corridor, she has a 40-year relationship with this area with family ties. Debra's father, Thomas F. Schilling, was a real estate agent in this area from 1987-1998.  In the mid-1980s, my dad relocated to Marion County, Arkansas, igniting our family's love affair with the stunning Ozark Mountains of Missouri and Arkansas. Our family spent many holidays and vacations at his beautiful retirement home.  In 2016, I returned to my roots, purchasing my family home that overlooks the breathtaking Bull Shoals Lake.  Living every day in this stunning paradise truly feels like a dream come true.

I enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as: hiking, gardening, canoeing, boating, and swimming in our pristine rivers and lakes! I am an active member of several community groups and thrive on volunteering to help raise money for our Sheriff Departments K-9 Fund, yearly Shop with a Cop program, and our local Senior Citizens Center monthly fundraising dinners. I believe strongly in community participation to help promote our wonderful area to the rest of the world by helping with the Chamber of Commerce’s in Ozark County. And of course, I cannot leave out my love of my dogs and my son Luke! Proudly my son Luke is becoming a 3rd generation REALTOR® and is teaming up with me to create an unstoppable duo.  Since moving to the lake full time, I have discovered many unique places this area offers. I truly have the best of both worlds: A quiet restful life on the lake but close enough to the surrounding towns for outdoor adventures, quality entertainment, restaurants and shopping.

My love for this area and desire to help others inspired me to pursue my real estate license.  My previous career was in the service industry where I assisted others in achieving individualized goals. Please allow me to assist you, as a buyer or seller, in your desire to fulfill your real estate needs including, but not limited to, a vacation or full-time home, land to preserve or develop, and farmland. I offer competent, reliable comprehensive service for real estate in north-central Arkansas and south-central Missouri, all nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
